An approach to teaching the Arabic language by introducing vocabulary and grammar in small doses, based on the most commonly used words in Arabic literature and the most frequently used grammatical constructions. Book One focuses on the rules of nominal sentences.

This course has been designed to present the young students comprehensive Islamic education, comprising general Islamic knowledge based on the Quran and Hadith. Instead of teaching moral principles directly, they are taught through themes chosen from the Quran and other Islamic sources. A major portion of the course comprises the text of the Quran, which is followd by exercises to test the depth of understanding of the students. Though basically intended for use as a school text book, it is also an ideal tool for home schooling involving both the parents and the children. In this way children will nt only learn the ethical values conveyed by the message of Islam but will also be stimulated to want to know more about Islamic teachings when they grow up.

The new textbooks have been designed resting on the concept of Mahawir or "field of activities", which fall under two or three interrelated units dealing with topics related to the daily life and interests of students. Within each unit are seven to eight 'to the point' lessons dealing with conversational Arabic, reading, vocabulary and linguistic structures, applied grammar, spelling and dictation, review and reinforcement and finally cultural enrichment. In addition each textbook contains a supplement of 4 to 5 units focusing on Islamic themes.

Each level in this curriculum begins with topics on Allah, the Qur’an, the Prophet (s), ahadith, or sunnah. The early levels emphasize the five pillars, while later levels contain more detailed studies.

In each level, several lessons are devoted to Islamic values to help children develop a sound understanding of Islamic manners, values, and morals. The lessons are designed so that teachers will have a clear path of instruction and can be covered within a 50-60 minute period. Emphasis on each lesson ensures valuable class time is not wasted.
Weekend Learning Series features a variety of activities, including word matching and scrambles, fill-in-the-blanks, and more. Teachers will appreciate lesson objectives at the beginning of each chapter, built-in homework sections, and vocabulary words at the end of each chapter.

Topics for level 7 include the names of the Qur’an, seeking forgiveness and protection, physical and spiritual purification, guard your tongue, and more. By this level a summarized biography of the Prophet (s) is completed with an understanding of events that shaped his life and early Islam. Students will then have studied biographies of most of the prominent prophets at least once
