Islam Denounces Terrorism - Hardcover
English
One of the unfortunate effects of 9/11 was the misperception that terrorism has divine approval in Islam. Islam Denounces Terrorism thoroughly debunks this notion by looking at both the Qur’an and the historical record. With extensive color illustrations, the book covers such timely topics as Islamic morality, how the Qur’an views war, the real face of the terrorists who act in the name of religions, and much more.

Decisive Moments in the History of Islam
English

The decisive encounters between the East and West-- Islam and Christendom--in the fields of war or peace had the most far reaching effects on their destinies. This is one of the most important subjects of Islamic history, indeed perhaps the most important of all. Besides its abundant and eventful episodes, it throws much light on this eternal struggle between the East and the West. As many of these events are scantily dealt with by the Islamic chroniclers, careful reference to Western sources and scholars been made to analyse the subject in detail.

Book of the Secret of Secrets and the Manifestation of...
English
Conventionally the word "Sufi" is considered synonymous with the word "mystic". But the word "Sufi", as used in Arabic, Persian, Turkish and Urdu, has a religious connotation. According to the Sufis themselves, the word is derived from an Arabic root "safa" (purity). They opine the sufi is he who keeps his heart pure with God. The Sufis claim to have inherited their doctrines direct from the teachings of the holy Prophet, who, strictly speaking, has given no dogmatic or mystical theology.. The fundamental of sufism is God, Man and the relation between them, which is Love. The whole sufi theosophy revolves on these three pivots. From God sprang the theory of tawhid (divine unity), of nur (divine light), of zat wa sifat (divine essence and attributes) and the theory of hama ust (all is He). From man emerged the theories of ruh (soul), qurbat (divine proximity), hulul (infusion of divine spirit). From "the relation between God and Man" the Idea of Ishq (divine love), Fana (self-annihilation), Baqa (abiding in God), etc. came into being. Hence the Sufis believe in the real one God who is all merciful and loving and whom a man can approach with a loving heart.

Leading A Spiritual Life
English

The book aims at developing a spiritual bent of mind in its reader. The author believes that to attain spirituality one does not need to retire to the jungles, rather one must live in the midst of all the activities of the world and develop the ability to convert material events into non-material or spiritual events. According to the author, “If you want to live as a spiritual person, learn the art of extraction. That is, you have to be able to extract spiritual content from material things. This will give you spiritual food, and thus you will be able to develop yourself as a spiritual person.”Spiritual living is the greatest need of the day and in the various chapters of the book, the author enlightens the reader on how to deal with day-to-day problems of failure, stress, unhappiness and conflict.

Islam Rediscovered
English

This book seeks, as its title suggests, to present Islam as it is, by drawing on original sources, rather than leaving it to be judged by latter-day interpretations and commentaries, or the practices of present-day Muslims in different parts of the world. This method of evaluation brings out the distinction between Islam as presented to the world by the Prophet Muhammad and his Companions (information about which is available to us in the Qur?an and the sunnah) and Islam as mirrored in the lives of later Muslim generations.
