The Level 1 Islamic Studies book from Weekend Learning is for 5-7 year old children who can read short sentences and write short phrases. Ideally, the book is for the 1st-grade students. This is their first year in a formal Islamic class.

All lessons in this book are thematically presented in distinct units. There are total of 6 units and 28 chapters in the book. The Level 1 book introduces students to the fundamentals of Islam. These students have very little or no knowledge about Allah, Islam, the Qur’an, and the Messenger. The lessons in this book attempt to walk students through the basics of Islam. Assuming students have no prior knowledge, the book takes the first step toward formal curriculum-based learning. The goal here is to keep it simple and enjoyable, yet informative. Each chapter provides the Islamic foundation appropriate for this age group. The concepts learned in this book will be covered in greater detail in future grade levels.

The book has 28 lessons on Allah, the Qur’an, Islam, Rasulullah (S), the Hadith and Sunnah and 5-pillars of Islam, Messengers of Allah, Akhlaq and Adab in Islam and so forth. The idea is to cover the basics of Islam. For example, 6 lessons cover the concepts of 5-pillars, 5 lessons cover a short introduction to 5 rasuls and nabis, 9 lessons cover Islamic values and morals.

The attention span of children is small; therefore, short paragraphs introduce two or three concepts. This is followed by in-class review section to allow for a short break and reinforce learning. This revised edition is Ideally for 7-8-year old, second or third grade students. The children are in their second or third year in a formal Islamic class. This book builds on the knowledge base of the Level 1 book, with an additional emphasis while introducing the basics of Islam.

The Level 4 book is intended for children ages 8–11 who have completed the Level 3 book from Weekend Learning or who have a similar knowledge base of Islam. This is their third or fourth year in a formal Islamic class.

Learning about Allah remains an important focus of the entire series, as well as the life of Nabi Muhammad (S). The unit on how Islam changed Arabia takes a closer look at the life of Nabi Muhammad before and after receiving divine revelations. With the ritual duties becoming obligatory to students in this age group, several topics on the Fiqh of sal?t are introduced.  The lives of the four Khalifas are covered in greater detail in order to explain their contributions to Islam. Several moral-building lessons are also included.

The Level 5 Islamic Studies book from Weekend Learning Publishers is intended for children ages 9 – 11 who have completed the Level 4 book from Weekend Learning or who have a similar knowledge base of Islam.

Izhar ul Haq is internationally recognised as one of the most authoritative and objective studies of the Bible. It was originally written in Arabic in 1864 by the distinguished nineteenth century Indian scholar, Maulana Rahmatullah Kairanvi in response to the Christian offensive against Islam in British India, and specifically to counter the subversive attack made by the Reverend Fonder in his Urdu book, Meezan ul Haq.
