Mohsen Shaker al-Bayoumi

Dr. Mohsen Shaker al-Bayoumi was born in Egypt and came to

Japan in 2000 where he has been living since. He was one of the original

members of the Japan Halal Association, served as an imam at the Kobe Mosque in

Japan for 10 years, and is now an imam at the Osaka Ibaraki Mosque. He holds a

PhD in Islamic Studies from Cairo University and has studied at al-Azhar

University.
