The Safar Juz’ ‘Amma is part of the Safar Learn to Read series. It should be read after completing the Safar Qaʿidah, which consists of 13 progressive levels, each targeting a unique feature of learning.

While reading the Safar Juz’ ‘Amma, students will enhance their application of the 13 levels covered in the Safar Qaʿidah, building on fluency and the ability to read longer passages in a single breath. This book can also be covered in conjunction with the Safar Tajwid book—a sequel to the Safar Qaʿidah.

Unlike other contemporary Juz’ ‘Ammas, this book has been published with the surahs in the correct Quranic order, to help students to remember the sequence of surahs for correct salah performance. Its script has been imported directly from the popular 13-line Quran that is used throughout the world. The text is not color-coded for tajwid rules, so that students will be able to read black and white Qurans without such aids.

The Safar Juz’ ‘Amma’s unique marking code, diary, and checklist are elements that have been designed to keep track of a student’s progress and to enhance the communication between students, parents, and teachers.

Arabic Handwriting is part of the Safar Learn Arabic Series. The aim of the book is to strengthen children’s familiarity with elementary Arabic penmanship by teaching them to write letters and words. This is the first book in the Safar Learn Arabic Series, wherein students learn to write and study verses of the Qurʾān and Aḥādīth of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. The book can also be used as an aid to the Safar Qāʿidah, whereby writing the Arabic script will aid students to learn and read the Qāʿidah fluently.

The Arabic language is an essential part of a Muslim’s life. For centuries, the recitation of the Qurʾān has been the primary goal for Muslims around the world and not much emphasis has been given on understanding and writing Arabic. The Safar Learn Arabic Series has been designed to fill this gap and help young Muslims better appreciate the sources of Islam: the Qurʾān and Sunnah. The two scripts are written by different calligraphers who have different writing styles. There are also technical differences which have been addressed in the Qaidahs, teaching users how to effectively read the Quran in the relevant script.

The South Asian script is usually found in the 13 line Mushafs/Qurans which are more commonly used in the indo-pak and South African regions. The Madinah script which is sometimes known as the Uthmani script is usually found in the 15 line Mushafs/Qurans and is more commonly used in Madinah and other Arab regions.
